Minnesota Governor Tim Walz will accept the Democratic nomination for vice president eleven weeks before the 2024 U.S. election, in which he and fellow presidential candidate Kamala Harris will run against Republican former President Donald Trump.
Walz, 60, a military veteran, former high school teacher and football coach, will talk about his childhood on a Nebraska farm, his family and freedoms that Democrats say are under attack by Trump, who is running for his third term in office.
