Manypeaks' Women's A-Grade team are expected to be knocked out of the Lower Great Southern Hockey Association finals series after being deducted four championship points for illegally fielding an unregistered player during matches this season. The Manypeaks Hockey Club has appealed against this decision. The result is expected by Friday.

With a promise to empower women in the Wheatbelt, Darkan CWA will host a mental and physical health event with a focus on promoting community wellbeing.
