Death of teenager in custody triggers calls for judicial reform

The Australian Human Rights Commission is seeking an urgent meeting with the Premier of Western Australia after another Indigenous teenager dies in custody. Prison staff found the 17-year-old boy in his cell at Banksia Hill Youth Prison in Perth at around 10pm on Thursday. He is believed to have committed suicide.
