“Toxic”: Police officers threaten to leave parliament and airport over salary dispute
In response to renewed demands for higher wages, police officers threatened to leave the parliament building and the airports. The Australian Police Federation has warned that security at Parliament House could be compromised during sitting weeks as the union claims a collective agreement proposed by the Australian government is not good enough.
