A late goal from Jacqueline Dupuy gave Gold Coast a four-point win over Sydney and their first AFLW win of the year. Dupuy scored the winning goal a minute before the end of the game, securing the score of 7.8 (50) to 6.10 (46) at Henson Park on Saturday.
Sydney midfielder Laura Gardiner has been sidelined indefinitely, dealing a major blow to the Swans' AFLW finals ambitions. Gardiner suffered the hand injury while attempting a tackle in the sixth round defeat to his former club Geelong.
