Andrews Way project to expand tourism and residential areas near Brookfield south of Margaret River

The Planning Commission of Western Australia has approved a structure plan that will transform the region south of Brookfield. The plan for Andrews Way, east of Doust Corner, paves the way for a new shopping centre adjacent to the tourist precinct on the Bussell Highway, as well as the establishment of a medium-density residential development.

Environmental group questions fracking project in Northern Territory

Environmental groups in the Northern Territory are challenging the approval of the territory's largest fracking project. Northern Territory Environment and Energy Minister Kate Worden approved natural gas company Tamboran Resources' application for a permit to explore for gas in the Beetaloo Basin in May.
