Virgin Australia orders next-generation aircraft to replace its old Fokker 100 fleet

Virgin Australia has ordered eight new commercial aircraft to support the future growth of the airline’s regional and charter business in Western Australia. The Embraer E190-E2 aircraft will join Virgin Australia's fleet from October 2025 and will primarily operate charter flights for Virgin Australia Regional Airlines, ultimately replacing the decades-old Fokker 100 fleet.
