Official admits mistakes in child abuse case by lawyer
A police officer tasked with investigating Manny Waks' allegations of past child abuse never visited the Jewish center where the alleged crimes took place. Detective Senior Constable Michael Simonsen made this admission on Thursday during the preliminary investigation against Zev “Velvel” Serebryanski in the Melbourne Magistrates Court.
