Sydney Metro to open on Monday after receiving final approval
Sydney's new subway line will begin passenger service from Monday after the National Rail Safety Commissioner gave final approval to the project. The opening of the Chatswood to Sydenham line was planned for 4 August, but the opening date was postponed at the last minute due to the need for additional security checks.
