A bird conservationist and climber has combined his skills to save a southwest cockatoo from extinction. Dean Arthurell, a member of the Carnaby's Crusaders, launched the Baudin's Artificial Hollow Breeding Project in Nannup last month to save the Baudin's black cockatoo.
