Premier stops push to ban slot machines on Anzac Day
The New South Wales Premier has fended off an attempt to ban gaming machines on Anzac Day, despite his recent push to ban retail on the national holiday. Independent MP Alex Greenwich is now also proposing to close slot machine rooms in casinos, pubs and clubs on April 25.
