A leading Western Australian fund manager has reignited calls for Diggers & Dealers to relocate to Perth and turn the annual mining boom into a more family-friendly event and a more welcoming environment for women.
Russell “Rusty” Delroy, who manages $170 million through his Nero Resources Fund on Napoleon Street in Cottesloe, believes the three-day forum in Kalgoorlie-Boulder has reached such scale and importance that it “has truly outdone itself” and “urgently needs to be developed further”.
