More companies than ever before were placed into receivership last year, according to a study. Supporters point out that inflationary pressures are affecting numerous industries.
Representatives of the Australian Corporate Regulatory Authority said during a parliamentary inquiry into the cost of living crisis that 11,053 companies were placed into administration in the 2023/24 financial year.
