A Qantas flight attendant accused of possessing and distributing thousands of disgusting images of child exploitation used social media to contact “partners” in Portugal, the United States and Indonesia, a court has heard.
Ian Douglas Snelson, 56, is accused of using a cloud-based service to send 4,538 files containing child abuse material to his regular “friends” around the world, with whom he communicated on platforms such as Grindr, WhatsApp and Telegram.
