Dear Aunt,
Younger people increasingly accuse me of living in the past. Some of the reasons for this are that although I have a bank card, I still use cash and like to have notes in my wallet and coins in my pocket. I insist on speaking to bank tellers who I can talk to. I will not use online banking. I will still read newspapers and books on real paper. I will still use the tills in supermarkets that are manned by staff. I will consider using self-checkouts if they give me a discount for doing their job, and I refuse to drive an electric car. Should I try harder to cope with changing lifestyles that I am simply not happy with?
