Dutton reportedly seeks legal advice after Steggall's 'racist' jibe about Gaza visas

Peter Dutton is seeking legal advice after being called a “racist” during a heated debate in the House of Representatives over visas for Palestinians fleeing Gaza, Sky News reported.

The opposition leader had tabled a motion earlier this week to suspend the Rules of Procedure and debate Gaza visas. This gave him the floor to accuse the government of neglecting national security and of advocating a blanket travel ban for people from the war-torn Palestinian territories.
