Cook government refuses to set closure date for notorious Unit 18 despite pressure from Cleveland Coroner Dodd

The Cook administration refused to commit to a date for the closure of the notorious reactor unit 18 and rejected key testimony from leading witnesses at the Cleveland-Dodd inquiry.

While the investigation is still ongoing and is scheduled to enter its third round in October, coroner Phil Urqhuart and his lawyer Anthony Crocker have repeatedly pressed Justice Department leaders to announce when the controversial youth correctional facility will be closed.
