Executives in the resource sector are more likely to change jobs for a good leader and a good salary than for the waning appeal of changing the world, say two talent scouts, as roles in critical minerals lose popularity in favor of gold.
Acacia founders Abbi Vermey and Laura Grierson say their Subiaco-based recruitment firm saw a 128 per cent increase in jobs in the gold and copper industries last financial year, while job numbers in lithium and rare earths remained relatively stagnant.
